British Airways returns to Southampton Airport

It's been 13 years since British Airways last flew out of Southampton Airport but the carrier is making a comeback to the base. 

It's London City-based subsidiary, BA CityFlyer will operate at weekends from May 2021 to October.

It will offer an extensive network of flights to European destinations such as:

• Faro
• Florence
• Malaga
• Palma
• Ibiza
• Bergerac
• Limoges
• Nice
• Mykonos

Since the loss of Flybe, routes have become less so the news of BA being welcomed back is great news for those living in the surrounding areas.
